If every seller took this step, there would be fewer requests from buyers for repairs. Sellers usually try to inspect their homes themselves before listing but most can't see past their own personal decor to see their homes objectively. Hiring a professional will allow viewing a home objectively and help identify potential problems. Identifying problems now will save money later and possibly a sale.
